English food was surprisingly French. True! There were lots of places selling French pastry and French bagette sandwiches in London. Of course Pub food was as I expected. Good and hearty and did I say good?

Call your experience ‘dress rehersal’! – prices like this will be coming to a pump near you within 5 years. I suppose, by then, gas in the UK will be equilavent to $20 a gallon 8)

I’ve discovered, since moving from the UK to Canada, that most Canadian English and French stereotypes are based on the 1940s and 1950s post-war cultures! It’s amazing how long it has persited. I was even asked by one gentleman if we (the UK) had ‘modern computers’!!

So how are English teeth, English food and French body odour?
